This
window shows properties of an item selected in Items
pane.
Executable
module field contains the
full path to executable file (.exe) of an application. This field always
has a value which is determined automatically on creation of a new ActiveTextBox
item.
Window
module field contains the full path to the module used by executable file of an
application. It contains description of modules and textboxes only. It's
value is determined automatically on creation of a new ActiveTextBox
item.
Control
ID field contains the ID of a textbox. This field has a value only in case
of selecting a textbox. It's determined automatically on creation of a
new ActiveTextBox item.
Description field contains the description for selected item. This description is
shown in Items pane. For executables and modules this field contains their
full paths. It's determined automatically on creation of a new ActiveTextBox
item. For textboxes this field contains the textual description of an item
that you have typed in while creating it (e.g. 'find window in
notepad').
You
can change this description by pressing the Edit button. Having a
well-thought self-explanatory description will help you understand what
textbox it describes.
Use
the View snapshot button to see the graphical image (a snapshot) of
a textbox. A snapshot for a textbox is created automatically if the
corresponding option is set. For information on setting this option see Program
options/Snapshots tab. If there is no snapshot for given textbox the
'View snapshot' button will be disabled.
Frequently
used strings list shows
the most frequently used strings for the given textbox (see Tutorial/Step
4). Use
the following buttons Add
string,
Remove string,
Move up,
Move down
and Options
to manage strings for selected item. The meaning of buttons and commands
mentioned above is self-explanatory. All changes take effect immediately. If
the string list is full the new string will replace the less frequently
used one.
